    Strengthening your facilitation skills
    The University of Maine Cooperative Extension is offering classes in facilitation skills. If you have ever been in a role that you wished you had more skills or practice for, then Strengthening Your Facilitation Skills, Level 1 is for you.

    Saco wins grants for safety
    The City of Saco has been awarded two Safety Enhancement Grants totalling $2,539 for equipment that will make the workplace safer for some city employees.

    Thanksgiving holiday trash collection schedule
    There will be no collection of trash or recycling on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27. Trash normally collected on Thursday will be picked up on Friday, November 28. Trash normally collected on Friday will be picked up on Saturday, November 29.

    Public Notice: Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District Development Program (Chinburg Builders, Inc.)
    The Saco City Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on November 17, 2014, at the City Council Chambers, 300 Main Street, regarding the development of Building No. 4 on Saco Island.

    Fall Leaf Collection, Nov. 10
    The City will begin leaf collection on Monday November 10. All leaves must be placed in PAPER bags and set out to the curb by 7 a.m. to guarantee pick up

    Lower convenience fees for VISA and Mastercard payments of real estate property tax, personal property tax and sewer bills. You can also pay by e-check for only $3 per transaction. For more information, follow this link.
