    National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
    The week of April 14th has been designated as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

    Compost sale begins May 1
    Compost will be available for pick up at the Foss Road Transfer Station beginning Thursday, May 1 at a price of $3 per cubic yard.

    A former Westbrook firefighter, David is currently assigned at the Driver/Operator of Ladder-1 on D Shift.

    Visit the Central Fire Station at 271 North Street on Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to learn more about the fire department's mission, people and equipment.

    Bids sought for Mill District Pedestrian Bridge
    Sealed bids for the Mill District Pedestrian Bridge project will be received by the City of Saco at 300 Maine Street, Saco, Maine 04072 until 1:00 P.M., local time, Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

    Household Hazardous Waste day is July 12, 2014
    Saco citizens with household hazardous wastes may dispose of them for free on July 12 from 8 a.m. to noon. For details about what can be disposed of, see the Household Hazardous Waste Day page.
